If you have been injured on the job don’t settle your case with your employer or insurance carrier until you speak to your attorney. As with any type of case where you may be in contact with an insurance adjuster, your employer and adjuster are not on your side. Their goal is to pay you as little as possible.
The best way to get the most money for your case is to hire an attorney. I have resolved many cases over the last several years wherein I was able to get $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 more than the insurance adjuster and employer were willing to pay before I was retained by my client.
And on a side note about these worker’s compensation cases, they are very dear to my heart. My dad worked at a paper mill his entire working career. I too worked there through college. I get very emotional when I look at how our state legislature has ruined our worker’s compensation laws the last 10 years.
It is a shame that working class people are being railroaded by greedy insurance companies. It is even more shameful that our legislature is allowing it to happen. Don’t let them run over you. Call me and let me help you get the most of your claim. I look forward to seeing you.
